No 28 - STEFAN RUIZ

An exclusive print of Stefan Ruiz’s striking photograph of a surreal desert scene near Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni, unearthly salt flats so large, they can be seen from space. Ruiz traveled all the way to southwest Bolivia from New York City to photograph the salt flats of Uyuni, which are situated near the highest point of the Andes. Ruiz’s beautiful image captures the landscape in five distinct, expertly layered textures: the pure white of the flats, framed in the foreground by verdant, succulent-covered earth and in the background by mountains, clouds, and pale blue sky.
