Chorthip Lagnese is a celebrated jewelry designer whose eponymous, nature-inspired line, Chorthip, has a fierce cult following within fashion circles and beyond. Lagnese previously was a star designer at Tiffany & Co., where she created signature pieces for many of the company's most timeless collections and worked with the architect Frank Gehry to translate his aesthetic into an exclusive jewelry line.

This picture was taken just before Lagnese left Thailand to move to New York. "Every time I see it, it reminds me of where I came from and my purpose for being in New York," she says.

This picture represents the years Lagnese worked as a jewelry designer at Tiffany & Co., from 2004 to 2008. "I worked on numerous collections, such as Tiffany Keys, Tiffany Notes, Tiffany Bezet engagement rings, and also the Frank Gehry Collection," Lagnese says.

This is Lagnese in her studio in Woodstock, "where most of my masterpieces are made," she says. "I dream up my new collection here! My cat, Puma, is so gentle and kind. He hangs out with me in my studio and gives out this amazing calm energy."

"This is the view from the backyard of our country home in Woodstock, New York, which gives me peace of mind every time I step outside," Lagnese says. "Interestingly, this image has a similar mountain view to the image from Phangan Island."
