Ralph Gibson
Ralph Gibson studied photography in the U.S. Navy before going on to work as an assistant to Dorothea Lange and Robert Frank. His many books include the trilogy The Somnambulist, Déja-Vu, and Days at Sea. Gibson’s work can be found in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the International Center of Photography. He lives in New York City.
