No 31 - LINA NOEL

This gorgeous, handcrafted ring was custom-designed for Whisper by Lina Noel. With a mixture of metals called Osby — a combination of bronze, brass and an alloy that lends the shine of gold with out the expense — Noel created this piece using only sculpture tools and no drills. The diameter of the ring is approximately an inch across, but its size can be adjusted (from size 5 to 8), as the design leaves the face of the ring open — an homage, Noel says, to the ever-changing size of our fingers. For the two nuggets, one large and one small, Noel took inspiration from the tiny boulders she spotted in the Grand Canyon. In the smaller nugget, you will find a touch of sparkle in the form of a beautiful inlaid Swarovski crystal.
