No 42 - BROWN CANNON III
Waimea Bay
Gallery C-Print
“You only see a swell like this once a year,” says Brown Cannon III of his shot, exclusive to Whisper, of surfers riding a monster wave at Waimea Bay on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Shot in the early winter of 2012 and printed in Cannon’s signature sepia tones, it pays homage to the daring athletes who take on the biggest waves on earth. This piece is meant to be collected and displayed alongside Megaladon, another stunner from the lens of Cannon.
